first (and probably last) post of the year

Wow.

Forgot all about this.

I'm not sure exactly where to start, soooooo...

Hey there. How are you doing? Good? Great.

Anyways, I might as well share some updates regarding my life (and of course, music):

First off, my album 'Phases' was received very well! It it the most streamed album (and release in general) of my entire discography, notably because I acquired the vocal talent of a well-known voice actor, by the name of flappetap. He was able to record voiceovers that were used to make him the 'narrator' of the album, per say.

So yeah, Phases was my most ambitious album, and it was my favorite to make.

Secondly, I have since upgraded my recording equipment (whoop whoop) and I currently make music on FL Studio. It's much easier and feels more professional to me than a certain digital audio workstation that won't be named.

Thirdly, I have a new EP dropping next month on the 22nd, 'ASTRVL'. It's gonna be a small collection of songs that have ethereal vibes to them. I've been leaning into having ethereal or chill vibes in my music, because that's really where I feel the creativity as an artist. Expect much more music like what you'll hear pretty soon :)

Fourthly (yep, there's a fourthly now), I've been working on posting more personal content to my YouTube channel. I've been debating on whether it would be my main channel or my second channel, but I eventually opted for my main, as that's where I gain a *bit* more traction with my uploads. It's also much simpler anyways, soooo

Finally, and this is the biggest announcement I've ever done, period:

I'm going to college.

I start next week, and to be honest, I'm not exactly sure what to expect. I know it'll be completely different from my first day of, say, primary school or high school, and that doesn't really help my case.

Am I nervous? Fuck yeah.

But I'm still gonna face it head on, because that's just what I have to do.

So, you ask, will the blog be more inactive than it already is?
